.........................................Let's skip to the time in the hall.
Actually,I do feel a little of excitement when I reached the hall as I had never attended any of the New Year celebrations held by Hong wen for the past few years.But when I saw that the first performance was DRUM,I did not feel excited at all.
The worst of all for me,is when the Lion Dance performance perform.Although,I knew that most of them feel excited and happy when they saw the Lion Dance walked up the stage,but I didn't feel that way.Even though I do not quite like the Lion Dance performances,but I did smile once or twice but as for the rest of the performance,I was bore to death!
This is my 5 days in one journal entry.Last Friday,23January 2009.______________________Last Friday,my grandma fetch me to her house.The very first person I met at her house is my Uncle(Uvin),whose nickname is 'fat pig'.The reason why his nickname is fat pig is that his weight was 128kg last year.Try to imagine an elephant stomping around the house.During dinner,all my uncles,aunts and cousins came.But I notice that someone was missing,that was my Great grand-mother.She declared herself as 96 years old but her actual age was 104.You may be surprised right.Let me tell you why she didn't come to the reunion dinner,the reason is that she is in a old folks home since she fell in the toilet and hurt her back.Let's not talk about the past,let the bygones be bygones.During the reunion dinner,we ate the food cooked by Aunt and my grandma.The Next three days_______________I could tell you that the three days were awfully bored and I would not talk about it to bore you.I will add more if I recall any thing that I missed out.
I do not know why those who are in tuition are complaining that "Too much work,too many homework."Maybe I think that me myself hadn't gone through tuition and hadn't know how many extra homework the tuition teacher will give.
But I think that tuition isn't so bad.I think that children should not complain too much on too many homework and the other reasons to 'bargain' with the teacher.Although there are times where there is really too much homework but I think that if we are quite organised,we will finish all the homework in no time.Me myself,think that parents should not give too much pressure on their child/children as they are really cases where children go berserk under too much pressure or Study,Study,Study.I think that this is similar to 1 of the article which I read recently.
'Cane or not cane'.One of the parents who was involved in the survey said that they would only cane their child if only they had done a mischievous thing that angered their child.Similarly,I think that parents should only give a lot of pressure at the appropriate time like during Examinations or PSLE."(These are only my opinions, do not take it to heart-those who read it.)
I think that most of them,declined the good opportunity as they have tuition that mount up to 3 to 4 tuition lessons and do not want more homework.
Maybe,I 'll try out Science tuition.Who knows,we are not God,we can't predict what the future will bring us.
