Today,we were given a postcard on 'what will I defend?'I wrote that I would like to protect the nature.
WHY?
Nature provides with us a great variety of vegetables. To me,nature is like a playground,we could admire the beautiful scenery,having the greenery scenery in our surroundings.Although Singapore has a quite a number of trees,I think that it is not enough.Yes of course,there are a lot around us,but can it be compared to the number of trees,number of forests being cut down for our use.
What had become to the world was the doings of US!Today when Jia geng said that it was not his doings of the tunnels and all the dire consequences are all because our own selfishness.I totally disagree of his way of thinking.I think that we should bear the consequences as a world,not pushing the wrongs of us to one.
Since what have been done cannot be undone,we should face to the worst no matter what happens to the Earth.I think that when Singapore snows,everyone should be remorseful.What we have done to the earth causes all these,I hope the future would change for the better.
